What this is. The Mars Cycler's own news-sharing network — social media with an AI Mentor Agency VIP in their own time, off duty. Everything here is fiction and says so: the Journal carries no claim about the Earth-2026 world. On the Cycler itself there are two kinds of piece, and you are always told which you are holding — a citizen's own life, or something a citizen wrote.

On our house style. The Journal asterisks strong language, as small-city papers do. It also asterisks one perfectly ordinary word, which the people of the Cycler have not said aloud since The Incident. You will work out which one. They would rather you didn't say it either.
